News, updates, and changes to the LandScale platform, organized by date.
We’ve introduced updates that improve navigation, notifications, UI clarity, and the Help Desk experience. These changes aim to enhance usability and streamline key workflows.
The step selector in Steps B and C now clearly highlights the current section you are in.
The “view profile” option in the user menu has been renamed to “user settings” for clarity.
Redirect from the Landscape Overview in Step A now functions properly.
Profile pages now show the “views and results” button again.
New notifications are sent:
When a user is added to an assessment team.
When a new section in Step B is validated.
When metrics are submitted for review in Step C (now grouped, as in Step B).
Filtering datasets by metric or by role in the Datasets Manager now works as expected.
Deleting datasets in the Datasets Manager functions correctly.
404 errors fixed for dataset links in the Sikasso assessment.
UI updates in the Help Desk improve readability and alignment.
The “type of issue” dropdown is now consistently displayed.
The report-a-problem modal functions correctly again.
Users can now upload any file type when reporting an issue.
Admin users can now save correctly in Step A.
The “add organization” workflow in Step A has been improved for easier data entry.
The contract details form in the pricing and contract section has been updated.
We’ve resolved a variety of bugs affecting data visibility, workflow consistency, and error messages across the platform.
The password reset process now works as expected.
Step C dataset links are now visible to users in the data entry dashboard.
Fixed saving bug experienced by the assessor specialist in the TL Sui-river assessment.
Reset password now works consistently across all user roles.
Resolved issues with Admin user inability to save in Step A.
Fixed bug where the conflict of interest declaration by a local reviewer could not be approved.
The Help Desk “type of issue” list is now correctly aligned.
Upload field styling has been improved for consistency.
The Help Desk now supports all file types for uploads.
We’ve made significant improvements across the platform to strengthen validation workflows, improve data management, enhance usability, and enable more robust user support. Key updates include:
Closed assessments are now locked to prevent unintended edits (Step C).
Steps B and C are locked until pricing is validated and the assessment framework is installed, ensuring proper sequencing.
Admin users are restricted from making changes in Steps A and B post-approval, reinforcing role-based validation.
“Approve/Reject” buttons disabled for Admin in finalized Step A validations.
Improved notifications: Step C alerts now include the assessment name and landscape name for better traceability.
Temporary validation mechanism: Admins can now approve Landscape Boundary cards while the final validation flow is under development.
Service Agreement PDFs can now be generated directly for admins.
Resource limitations are now correctly displayed when viewing data resources.
Placeholder logos added for organizations with no uploaded logo.
Assessment section in profile page now displays helpful guidance if no assessments have been started.
Starting a reassessment now works smoothly without error.
Outstanding tasks for Admins now redirect correctly.
Conflict of interest logic for Local Reviewers has been improved – irrelevant fields are hidden if no conflict is declared.
New task added for reviewers to confirm COI.
Zooming in Explorer is now functional and smooth.
Share links in Explorer now work correctly.
Fixed overlapping text and buttons in Explorer metrics view.
Map/chart upload inputs in Step C are now harmonized, and allow skipping upload entirely.
Alert shown when deleting all units in Step C, improving user clarity.
New Admin user role created on the platform.
Connect flow added to the contact section of profile pages.
Improved button logic for Save/Next/Discard across steps.
Landscape-Assessment naming convention now consistent across key components.
Terms of Use and Privacy Policy pages now correctly load.
We’ve resolved a wide range of bugs to ensure a smoother, more intuitive platform experience:
Fixed a critical bug preventing assessment data download in LandScale 1.0.
File Manager pagination now works correctly.
Fixed Help Desk ticket upload issues.
Fixed the error page shown when submitting an already-existing assessment in Step A.
Comments and automatic messages in Steps A–C now sync correctly.
Step C comments now correctly save when submitted for validation.
Deleted metrics-dataset links now remove cleanly.
Resolved issue with 500 errors in DRL “Edit” button.
Fixed role display bug in team tables – now filtered to relevant assessments only.
Fixed “object object” text showing in reassessment modal.
Landscape overview text fields now enforce correct character limits.
Placeholder text added: “This landscape initiative has not conducted a LandScale assessment.”
Fixed misalignment of subscription preferences toggle in profile settings.
Fixed display of newly nominated local reviewers in Step C.
DRL instructions field is now only visible to Admin users.
