# Proceed to final validation

Following the conclusion of the local review and the resolution of any feedback arising from both the local review and the first LandScale review for Step C, the proposed final reassessment results (including any revisions made as a result of the review process) will proceed to the final LandScale review for Step C validation.

The final review consists of two components:

1. Validation of the local review process to verify whether it has adhered to all requirements.
2. Validation that any issues raised during the first LandScale review and the local review that require resolution have been satisfactorily addressed through the [provided resolution options](/reassessment-guidelines/step-c/address-comments-from-local-review/address-feedback-from-the-local-review.md), ensuring that adequate results and documentation reflecting these changes have been uploaded to the platform.

After the final LandScale review for Step C is complete, all validated results will be automatically published on the corresponding landscape profile.

## Documentation requirements

The following materials must be submitted through the LandScale platform for the final review:

* Documentation of the local review process, forms of engagement with local reviewers, and Conflict of Interest Declarations for all the local reviewers, in accordance with the [local review guidelines](/reassessment-guidelines/step-c/address-comments-from-local-review.md).
* Documentation of how the assessment team resolved each issue raised through the local review or the first LandScale review, following the [respective resolution options](/reassessment-guidelines/step-c/address-comments-from-local-review/address-feedback-from-the-local-review.md) previously detailed.
* Final reassessment results—including associated limitation statements and documentation—reflecting any of the [previously detailed changes](/reassessment-guidelines/step-c/address-comments-from-local-review/address-feedback-from-the-local-review.md).

## Validation criteria

The final review will confirm whether the following requirements of Step C have been fulfilled:

* The local review process was properly conducted in accordance with the [guidelines](/reassessment-guidelines/step-c/address-comments-from-local-review.md).
* Local review questions for each metric have been answered by at least one qualified local reviewer.
* Each issue raised through the local review and through the first LandScale review was resolved according one of the [resolution options](/reassessment-guidelines/step-c/address-comments-from-local-review/address-feedback-from-the-local-review.md).
* The reassessment results were updated to incorporate these resolutions.

The assessment team should follow up with the local reviewers by sharing the final reassessment results along with a summary of how their feedback was considered and addressed. Local reviewers will also be able to access the full reassessment—including the report and published results—directly on the platform. The assessment team should thank local reviewers for their service and pay any agreed-upon stipend. These steps conclude the local review process.
